For most walkers on
the Camino, the journey ends when they
reach Santiago; the city of St. James.
Whether they travelled the French route,

the Via de la Plata, or the Portuguese
Camino, the end of their adventure is
near when they see the Cathedral spires
in the distance.

Elaphite islands walking tour & Dubrovnik
Croatia has 1185 islands of which 66 are inhabited. Elaphite Islands are the most southern and among the most beautiful islands. Situated near Dubrovnik, sometimes called Dubrovnik archipelago, Elaphite islands are a blend of great nature, culture and friendly local people. Green protected nature parks are ideal for walking almost year around, which is due to the mild Mediterranean climate and good ferry connection with Dubrovnik.
Pathways are easy to moderate, offering great landscapes and views over the green islands, scenic Adriatic coastline and crystal clear sea that will enchant you. The pathways of Elaphite islands Lopud, Sipan and Kolocep take you along the scenic coastline, historical sights with Preromanesque chapels, charming fishing villages, olive and orange grows, vineyards, forest, steep cliffs, caves and coves.
Two islands, Lopud and Kolocep are traffic free, there is no industry and the air is clean full of lovely Mediterranean odors (rosemary, lavender, sage, pine fennel). A visit to local farm and meeting local people and tasting local food, mainly home grown is one of the highlights of this tour.

Walking in the Algarve Central Base
Portugal is not first associated with walking but as it is with most places,
when you start exploring, you find some truly beautiful and impressive
scenery to explore. The walking is mainly coastal with massive sea cliffs,
wild oceans,, delicate flowers, long white beaches, birds of prey, little
white washed villages and the smell of a country that is still moving on
slow time. Inland walking is more gentle, with farmland and small woods
making up the scenery. The walks we offer are dynamic in that they can be
tailored to suite different types of walkers, short walks, long walks, hilly
hard walks or just short informative walks.
